Great food with a scenic view. I would certainly recommend The Leaning Pear.
The Leaning Pear never disappoints! The menu is not overwhelming, but has a satisfactory variety of seasonal flavors. Absolute BEST wedge salad everywhere (the dried figs MAKE the shell). Pizzas are baked in an authentic pizza oven and have interesting and unexpected ingredients. The crab cake is delicious and enormous (definitely a deer portion). The Maurerjar cheesecake is served with fresh strawberries and a delicious Balsamico reduction sauce. We make it a point to visit twice when we are in Wimberley.
The crab cake was the best! Good food and great atmosphere! Add some live music and you’ve got it made!
Seriously. Foodie coma! I truly recommend this place if just for the mac and cheese. With bacon! Holy mother of pearl!
