Rustico At Hay Shed Hill - WILYABRUP

We went to Valise vineyard but the kitchen closes at 3pm. We were pointed to Rustico which is open till 5pm. The portions were small and hardly filled us up.

Someone recommended this place for lunch, and we were not disappointed! They have an amazing set menu, but we opted to order a la carte since we we're too hungry. Definitely worth the money, and the property is so lovely.

We were planning on having lunch here whilst on a break down South but when we arrived we saw the dugustation menu and as there was so many things on the menu we wanted to try we opted for that. Fisrtly the staff were really helpful, didn’t rush us at all and were happy to offer advice on the menu. We had already been and tasted the wines in the cellar door so knew what to order. (Kerrigan and Berry Shiraz….delightful)All of the food was spectacularly presented, we werent rushed between courses (even though we were the last to leave) and have to say every course was beautiful.Already looking forward to returning next time in the area.

Really enjoyed the degustation lunch. With a table of four it's very good value. A gentleman served us and was very helpful (sorry I didn't take your name) and the owner Vanessa is great energy, wonderful.

If you are looking for a nice Margaret River winery for lunch and of course a lovely drop of sav blanc, then this is a surefire hit. Rustico is set in the original wine making facility, service good and food on point... well done... naturally a gorgeous setting with greenery all around.
