Flutes Restaurant - WILYABRUP

Flutes Restaurant sits on a lovely man-made lake and is surrounded by vines and rolling hills. On our visit this week the small brook was in full flow following recent rains.This was our second visit within two months and once again the service was excellent with helpful and professional staff. The food, included locally caught whiting, and sweet potato gnocchi for a main course and it all was superb.Flutes would be a delightful venue to bring guests from overseas or interstate. The Brookland Valley Wines complement the top class food and service. Recommended.

We use to come here a lot for breakfast and hadn't been for a while so we decided to treat ourselves. In less then a minute of walking in we new something didn't look right. There were different staff on (mostly all young high school kids) and the place looked dirty. There were flies around us the whole time we were eating. We also realised that we normally had to wait in line for a table however this time more then half the cafe was empty. The food was just okay (coffee on the other hand was burnt). We certainly wouldn't say it was great or amazing like we normally would. Very disappointment. Won't be going back there again. Such a shame.

We came on a friends recommendation, as there are so many quality restaurants down south. This was definitely worth the visit. The set course was extremely great value and we left very satisfied. Compliments to the chef and waitstaff, and the view over lake made it all come together.

We had a girls lunch here over the weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. We ordered arancini balls, charcuterie plate, duck spring rolls, dips, and the gnocchi to share. Everything was amazing. Fresh produce cooked to perfection with a stunning backdrop.The staff here were very friendly and efficient. We were able to get a $50 discount with the Entertainment Card also. Would return here anytime I was in the area again.

I had visitors from interstate and wanted to treat them to something special. Flutes certainly did not disappoint from walking down the path with the beautiful scented violet plants, wine tasting at Brookland Valley prior to our meal, the panoramic lake, and the delightful restaurant. One of my guests had food special need requirements which I emailed to the chef a week before and he was very obliging.. The staff were attentive and wonderful the food delicious and we all hope to return soon
