The Orchard - Wiltshire

What a brilliant experience. I just moved back to the area and the staff. Lou, Elizabeth, Elanor and Manuella were so welcoming. The new bar manager, Laura, was so professional and a credit to the orchard. I will definitely be coming back soon

Gone down hill abit since I last went, food was quick but wasn’t great, the landlady had abit of a face on her so didn’t bother complaining just left instead, the ladies behind the bar were nice and smiley though

Was very accommodating to my grandma in a wheelchair. food took about 30-40 minutes to come out and didn’t look great burger had one slice of stringy bacon. not very impressed

Lovely food, very clean and service great. Took our 4 year old grand daughter who loved the tomato pasta.

Totally superb!!!! Today was our very disabled 20 year old sons right of passage...getting a small beer with his dad as part of our family outing. So we tried a pub in Salisbury ..HUGE mistake cos they refused as we had no ID for him...really upsetting for us all. So we went home to Amesbury, got his passport and walked to The Orchard our local pub where we haven't been for many years . Our son was worried because of our previous encounter, but he said he wanted to be brave. Well, how amazing are the staff here!!!! The barman was so kind and mannerly to our son, treated him as the adult he is, waited while he and dad chose a little half pint of beer. And didn't ask for ID as he's obviously over 18! Then we had an amazing meal. All the food was well- cooked, staff were so helpful and pleasant, and were happy to let us spend lots of time eating our two course meal. Sometimes doing all the simple things really well makes a big difference! I cannot thank you enough for treating our son just as a normal person, and helping him climb another hurdle. You will deffo be our local now!
