The Moonraker - Wiltshire

Stayed for an overnight break. Good food we had a tasting menu. And they were happy to accommodate my other half’s aversion to fish! Pleasant rooms and a warm welcome (plus Neals Yard products in the bathroom my favourite!

We had the tasting menu. We had a deal with Groupon. We enjoyed the tasting menu but had we paid full price I would not have been happy. However both my husband and I came down with food poisoning. We had not eaten anything else so it must have been the food we ate at the Moonraker. We sent an e mail advising of this . When we had not received a reply my husband telephoned . The person he spoke to took his details and said a manager would call back. No phone call was received and 10 days ago I wrote to the owners. Guess what no reply

We tend to come here on a Friday afternoon to have pudding and a drink. This time we had a cheese board and 2 guns. The couple that work running the restaurant are always well coming of us and big dog. A lovely atmosphere.

We loved this place.Great oldie world feel about it.Had a beer outside over looking the fields

Superbly cooked and presented, and at reasonable price. The tasting menu is an absolute winner. The service was impeccable but really friendly. The wine list is, thankfully, not too long with an excellent choice.
