Thai Taste - Wiltshire

An awful experience from start to finish. The restaurant is filthy, the food is very expensive,extremely poor quality, microwaved rice and lukewarm curries. The worst Thai restaurant on the planet, an insult to Thailand and it’s wonderful people. After spending 73.00 for two people, we left hungry and feeling completely disgusted by the whole experience. On lifting the spoon to plate my Thai green curry all you could smell was ammonia… The beef massaman was so sour and the beef looked like cheap dog food.

We very recently had a family meal at Thai Taste, Chippenham which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was good and the portions were quite generous. Highly recommended.

I don't usually write restaurant reviews, but I had to share my experience at this amazing hidden gem near Market Square in Chippenham! The food was fantastic and the owners were so friendly. We visited during the Christmas and New Year period and had the restaurant all to ourselves. My husband absolutely loved the ribs - he's already planning to come back for the ribs starter and main. We also tried the duck spring rolls, which were delicious and beautifully presented. For our mains, we had the vegetable rice, which was flavorful and had plenty of fresh veggies. We also had curries to go with the rice. I went for the tofu green curry, which was also delicious and the portions were generous. The staff kindly packed up the leftovers for us to enjoy the next day. For dessert, we shared a banana fritter with ice cream, a perfect end to a perfect meal. We also had Thai ice tea, which was delightful. Chippenham is lucky to have this restaurant - we will definitely be back in 2022!

Superb food amazing flavours. Excellent service despite restaurant being full. This is a real gem and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I visited Thai Taste on a Monday evening with a group of friends. We were seated and brought drinks promptly by a friendly waitress. We ordered a variety of starters and main courses, which were enjoyed by all. The Massaman curry comes highly recommended!I have been to this restaurant several times before, but this was definitely the best visit yet.
