The small, dilapidated pub is frequented by builders and road workers, watching local cyclists go by. The owner shows no regard for the community or those living nearby. Nightly disturbances include loud music and fights. The food is not worth the risk, the beer is stale and causes stomach issues. The owner is not respectful and leaves much to be desired.
I chose to dine at this restaurant after reading reviews, but was disappointed to discover that the beer taps were not functioning. The selection was also lacking. While I understand that the restaurant had just opened, it did not have the lively atmosphere typically associated with a grand opening.
Arranged a little work night out, a group of roughly 9 of us went out for some food. Thought I'd try here as they'd had some good reviews, and I certainly wasn't let down! There was a friendly and warm atmosphere in pub, all the staff were so attentive and accommodating. Had a great meal, food was tasty and portions were good when you're taking people to eat somewhere you need to know they're not going to leave hungry! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be heading back! Thank you! x
We stayed in Warminster on Friday night on our way south and just needed a good meal ready for a busy day on Saturday. It's so hard to get good food on the road it's usually pizza or fast food, but this was the best we've had for ages. We happened to ask in a shop about where to eat in Warminster and were so glad we followed advice as the meal was excellent proper food imaginatively cooked and the service and ambience was very good too. The Mason's Arms deserves to be busier to give an excellent chef more to do I think it's currently Warminster's best kept secret! In terms of value, it was really good as we called at a Pizza Express on our way back from Exeter to the Midlands and, for unimpressive pizza with few ingredients, the bill was only slightly cheaper. At the Mason's Arms we'd had good ingredients, very well cooked and alcohol for not much more! Well done!
