Fay's Bistro - Wiltshire

My husband and I popped in recently for a light lunch. Situated along the river bank with pretty views. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the outside tables were very popular and already full however, some seating was still available inside it was actually cooler inside. This was a welcome relief from the outside heat. The menu was extensive. We ordered sandwiches, which were freshly prepared and tasty and my husband also had some if the dreamy Marshfield ice cream. Service was quick efficient and the staff were genuinely friendly. The one thing I'd change would be the plastic table covers...I really don't like them think they look cheap unattractive. Prices were on the higher side, maybe more like London prices but nevertheless we would return and would recommend. Thank you.

Superb food every time we visit. Very varied menu, lots freshly prepared on order. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Very fairly priced for the quality of food. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fabulous vegan lunch. A good selection and plant milk. I’ve been a few times now, always good food and service. Always happy to choose Fay's when I’m in Calne . I had Falafel and hummus and my friend had scampi, as usual really nice food

We love a visit to Fay’s. It’s our local first choice go to when we want breakfast or lunch out, the food is always great. The staff are always polite and welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble. I have celiac and they cannot be more helpful, gluten free cake is always on the menu and the gf pancakes are to die for!

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a great view. Inside and outside seating, will be back again very soon! Our dog also enjoyed the visit!
