Crump's Coffee Shop Cafe - Wiltshire

I have been wanting to write this review for a long time. In my opinion, The Butcher's Mate is the best cafe in Bassett! The food is delicious and of high quality, but what truly sets it apart is the amazing staff who clearly care about what they do. I first started going there 2.5 years ago when I had just moved to Bassett with my 3 year old and newborn. Coming out of lockdown, it was a relief to find a place where I could enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee without feeling like a nuisance with my kids. The staff at The Butcher's Mate always made us feel welcome, interacted with my children, and never judged when things got chaotic. My kids now love the cafe and affectionately refer to it as the "beans on toast shop." I am very grateful for this wonderful place and want to give a big shout out to Claire and the team. XXX

The menu is good, the food is excellent, the staff is lovely, and the venue is nice. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were impressed by the customer service and the attention to detail in plating.

The staff are warm and welcoming. Reasonable price but the food is incredible : the full breakfast is delicious as I am eating and doing this review.

Excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend this place. The staff were friendly and polite and price was great. We parked right outside the door and we would definitely return if we're in the area again.
