Amesbury Spice - Wiltshire

The customer service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible! When I called to place an order, I was informed that they only accepted cash and that I should order online. When my delivery arrived, I received the wrong dish (chicken on the bone instead of chicken tikka masala). When I called to inform them of the mistake, I was met with extremely poor customer service. The man on the phone insisted that I had received the correct order and told me that if I wanted the dish I had actually ordered, I would have to pay for it. There was no understanding or apology for the confusion. Hungry and frustrated, I ended up paying for another chicken tikka masala. Additionally, the chicken "pakora" I ordered tasted like it came from a frozen food aisle. I will not be dining at this restaurant again.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and unfortunately, we were not impressed. The naan bread was burnt and the chicken tikka tasted and looked more like chicken korma. When we called to address the issue, we were told that this is how they make their tikka and were essentially accused of lying about the burnt naan bread. They offered 10% off our next order, but we explained that we would not be ordering from them again. It's a shame because we had high hopes for this place.

The food at Amesbury Spice is fantastic, the staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I have eaten here multiple times and have never been let down. Highly recommend!

Website blip rang to confirm I required a delivery order. Kind and courteous response. Food arrived and we live just over 3 miles from the restaurant, the food was piping hot. Makes a real change to have food arrive as if its straight out of the kitchen. Great value for money and good portion sizes. I ordered something different than I thought I had. Food was delicious and will definitely be ordering from here again.

Absolutely estupendo, everything steaming hot and absolutely lovely. £100+ order and came when they said.
