Consistently exceptional service, reasonable prices, delicious food, and a convenient location. For those with Celiac disease, this is a must-visit restaurant. Keep this gem a secret from your gluten-eating companions, who will simply see it as a great spot to meet up.
With a large group the service was very efficient, the mains and desserts were all excellent. The were very helpful for gluten free and coeliacs. On the weekends bookings are essential.
We went out to the cafe for a friday night meal accompanied by a Jazz band It was a perfect night, just warm enough to sit outside We were in the open air, and socially distanced The music was great The cafe was very busy which was great to see Sevice reasonably fast for such a busy night however our grilled fish was overcooked which was a shame I still prefer their daytime menus which are always interesting and varied with good vegan and vegetarian options
This has got to be one of the most expensive coffees ever!!! My friend and I had a regular (med) sized takeaway cappuccino each which came to over $8 AUD!!! And it was horrible too I took a sip and threw it away!! The service here has always been slow though it’s gotten even worse, seriously, it’s so frustrating! It would seem that they feel they can just get away with appalling service because they are the only cafe at the park. Well I will get my takeaway elsewhere and bring it to this lovely park and river area. Saving myself some money and further disappointing coffee.
