Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food is delicious, featuring real butter biscuits and healthy ingredients. The atmosphere is warm, and the service is friendly, all at a reasonable price.

However, the management of this restaurant could use some serious improvements. I waited 15 minutes for someone to take my to-go order. The young person at the host stand mentioned that several servers were no-shows, so I asked if the kitchen staff had all arrived. She confirmed they were present, so I decided to place my order online. Yet, I ended up waiting over an hour for my food. The manager claimed he would reverse the charge, but he didn't follow through. When I finally got in the car and started eating, the food was lukewarm! Cracker Barrel is usually a highlight of my road trips, but this was by far my worst experience there. I recommend skipping this location for food—only stop for the shopping. Just to note, I was there on a Sunday night, only an hour or two before closing, and the restaurant was barely a third full. Meanwhile, newcomers who arrived during my wait were seated right away.

I absolutely love this place! The food is really good, but the corn muffins were sometimes hard and crumbly, which seemed to indicate an issue with the recipe. Everything else, however, was excellent!

I am sitting in the parking lot on 7/5/23 at 12:49pm to leave this review about the HORRIBLE service I just received via curbside pickup. The guy brought out my food without a greeting, thanks or Have a nice day. . He simply stuck my bags in my car window and walked away. EXTREMELY rude service for my $40 meal. NEVER again! My 6 year old is even commenting on how rude he was! Returned the food and the manager was very nice and apologetic while issuing my refund.

First time here. Waitress wasn't very helpful. We needed items like spoons, napkins, and items were missing from my order, and the waitress was nowhere to be found. And the area was dirty. Biscuits and napkins all under the table. The pancakes were good when I first finally got all the item's I had ordered.
