Umaii Thai - Wilmington

We're so disappointed that we don't feed here anymore. We enjoy the food, but the condition of the remaining rooms was disgusting. It makes a wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Bunch of kids working, we loved Umaii, but this time we and no one came back! Several employees went to our table and never said a word, nobody even took our drinks order. After 20 min. Very disappointing dear spending my money elsewhere

Food and service was great! We were there 8/10/2022. 6 of us and they were very accommodating. The dishes we chose were customizable (waitress told us that all dishes were) and all came correctly. pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, edamames, chicken satay, all fantastic!!! Will definitely visit there again!!!

I started with an Old Fashioned, which I always order when I visit a restaurant with a bar. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. It could have been the ice or maybe it was over-watered. The use of Maraschino cherries was also puzzling; while the orange peel added a nice touch, it didn't seem to enhance the drink as it should have. As for the whisky, it was decent but not remarkable. On the other hand, their sweet tea was perfection! For appetizers, we shared a crab roll, which was quite good. We usually skip the seaweed, but this time we didn't, and it was enjoyable. My wife ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken, and she loved it. The broccoli was cooked just right, and the flavors were excellent. I opted for the drunken noodles with chicken, which also had a fantastic taste. The sauce was creamy and rich. However, both our dishes had one thing in common: the noodles were more like boiled dough rather than the traditional noodles we're used to. I spoke with a woman sitting next to us, and she mentioned that the noodles are usually much better here, so perhaps we just caught them on a less-than-perfect day. The service was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We might go back and give it another shot!

Dining area is nice, didn?t sit at the bar but it looked inviting with the food network on TV, so prob check that out next time. Our server was clearly busy but took great care of us. Wasn?t a fan of the ginger dressing on the salad and the sushi was good but I?ve had better.
