The Felix Cafe - Wilmington

The restaurant was excellent, with fantastic service. I can't wait to try more dishes on the menu. I will definitely be returning and enjoyed the beach-themed decor.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! Our server, Ashley, was amazing from start to finish, making sure we were happy with our drinks to dessert.

The Felix Cafe is a hidden gem! We went there to listen to jazz and grab a bite to eat. The interior is filled with creativity and you can tell the staff really puts in the effort to make sure everyone is comfortable. The Bacon-Gouda-Mushroom soup and the coconut shrimp were delicious! Not only did they taste great, but they were also beautifully presented. The friendly staff made the experience even better, especially when they proudly showed us their coffee selection. A special shoutout to Bill Kerr, the jazz entertainer, who became my new BFF by the end of the night!

For appetizers, we enjoyed the Crab Balls, which were perfectly cooked and not overly seasoned. My husband loved them so much that he unknowingly ate more than he thought. I ordered the Pineapple-A-Colada, served in a frozen pineapple shell, which was a refreshing and tasty drink. My only small critique was that I would have preferred it to be less creamy. However, it was still a delightful summer beverage. My husband opted for the Bacon Jam Burger with house-made Bourbon bacon jam, smoked gouda, and spinach, and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the combination turned out to be. The truffle Mac N Cheese served as a side was the perfect accompaniment to his meal. I chose the Flounder Tacos with minimal salt, and Becky ensured the fish was cooked perfectly despite the reduced seasoning. The portion was generous, and I was sufficiently filled from just one taco due to the flavorful pineapple drink. The chips and salsa that accompanied the tacos were presented in whole pieces and tasted fresh. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with charming decorations and attentive employees ensuring cleanliness. Even though some menu items were unavailable, our dining experience was wonderful. We are excited to return soon to try Felix's Famous Steam Pot. Overall, we give Felix Cafe a perfect 5 out of 5 rating based on our exceptional experience.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and couldn't have been more delighted! We were greeted by a friendly Maccaw named Valentino who made our visit extra special. The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. I would definitely return in a heartbeat!
