One of the first things that I thought was noteworthy was when I walked in the door, all the employees turned to look at me and to heartily greet me with Hellos and Welcome. This was noteworthy because I find this very rare in a Mexican restaurant but it really warmed me. They were very patient and kind while taking my order. I decided to try the chicken enchiladas with a verde (green) sauce, one of my favorites which allowed me to really compare them to another Mexican restaurant on 202. I found that the food was equally as good and $1.00 cheaper than the restaurant on 202. Tex Mex also gave me chips and a little salsa with my takeout meal just as if I were eating it in the restaurant. I thought this was a good perk as the restaurant on 202 doesn't do this and I've gotten takeout from there twice. I can't wait to go to Tex Mex Burrito again!!!! I think what really sold me was the hospitality. There's a well known restaurant down Philly Pike and I used to go there on my birthday every year but I stopped going. Why? Was it the food? No. It was the hospitality or lack thereof. They would not greet you and take your menu order without a smile and your money as well. I feel that if I'm buying your food, you should at least smile at me once during my visit. But Tex Mex Burrito goes all out. For real, I thought they only thing missing was them calling out my name when I walked in the door so hearty was the greeting. It was like walking into the Cheers Bar...you know where everyone knows your name. Anyway..Good job Tex Mex Burrito, Philadelphia Pike.
So many great choices on the menu! Staff was very friendly. Food was amazing!
The pineapple shrimp was fabulous and outstanding presentation. My serving bowl was a carved out perfect pineapple then grilled to proffection. Wait staff is attentive, friendly and very professional.
First time here was a Thursday evening very light crowd. Food was very good . I had the enchiladas verandas, someone else in our group had a carnitas dish. They were some of the best carnitas I have had locally. On the down side I think they are a little skimpy with the sauce I would have liked a lot more sauce on my enchiladas verandas. The free ships and salsa were kept full during the meal. The salsa was ok I prefer mine a little chunkier but it was tasty non the less. Prices are very reasonable. Service was very good. plenty of parking is available.Parking: can be tight
Fresh homemade food. My 5th visit, never disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go.
