Nicola's Italian - Wilmington

Authentic Italian cuisine in a small, somewhat austere room with great service. Homemade pasta is the difference. Nothing beautiful, but it doesn't have to be. Recommended.

My wife asked Nicolas for her birthday dinner. Noelani, our waitress, was very friendly and knew the menu. She was also great with wine pairing. We ordered an appetizer from Calamari, with entrees from Dolce Piccante and Chicken Emiliana. All dishes were good and the atmosphere was great! This restorer is worth your visit. If you ask for Noelani.

Nicolas is my favorite restaurant in Wilmington! Chef Nick not only ensures that every dish is perfect, but his wife and he work together like a well-oiled machine. The food is excellent and the servers are so knowledgeable and personal! I am happy every time and want more and more! In these unprecedented times, I would hope that people are patient and understand what it takes to make a restaurant a success! Kudos to you!

Enjoy the atmosphere at Nicolas! Very family-oriented, but also great for a date night. Owners are wonderful and we always have great service from our waiters. Sometimes we have to wait for a table, but we're never rushed when we sit and I appreciate it. I hate it when other restaurants seem to throw you out to turn the table. Food is always good and we love the variety in the specialties.

The best Italian food we've had in Wilmington. Get there early, it fills up fast.
