Cape Fear Seafood Company Porters Neck

Most of the time, the experience is great. However, the last time I visited, which was quite a while ago, I ordered flounder that was rolled and stuffed with crab. Unfortunately, the fish was undercooked on the inside. Everything else I’ve had there has been fantastic, but since that incident, I haven't returned.

Cape Fear is an excellent beachfront restaurant with fantastic service and delicious food. We want to give a special shout-out to our waiter for taking such wonderful care of our grandson and providing him with attentive service—after all, he deserves it too! We can’t wait for our next trip in that direction. We'll definitely be back and encourage others to visit as well!

The food was terrible. It was excellent from 2017 to 2020, but the quality has declined since then. If you look at the years when the awards stopped, you can see a clear trend. I'm very disappointed and won’t be returning to this restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience at Cape Fear in Porters Neck this evening. We arrived at 8 PM on a Friday and were seated right away. The sweet potato martini was strong and unique. For our main courses, we had the seared scallops on pork belly with lobster risotto, and it was fantastic. Don't overlook the shrimp and grits or the crab legs, as they were also delicious. However, I would suggest skipping the calamari, as it was rubbery and not enjoyable. I wish I had caught the name of the gentleman who served us; he was excellent. We will definitely return in the near future!
