Valley Lodge Tavern - Wilmette

We had a wonderful experience at this family-friendly restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Wilmette. On this visit, we tried the BBQ Pigs and the cattle pliers, both of which were delicious. Their sweet potatoes are also fantastic. The outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying a warm spring evening while people-watching. The service was excellent, and I appreciate being able to pay the bill directly from my phone using the Toast app.

After a scorching day (99°F on June 14, '22), it was a delight to sit outside at the Valley Lodge Tavern in Wilmette as the sun set, enjoying a glass of wine and delicious brown bread.

This place has amazing food and service. The drinks are amazing. Besides the sloppy Joe's, chicken bobs, saganaki. To be honest, I tried almost every article on the menu and I'm never disappointed. The fireplace is such a perk coming winter time. And the service is phenomenal. Everyone is so nice and it makes you really welcome. And their green beans should die.

Torn between 3 and 4 stars. We were here to celebrate my daughters. We had 11 guests a 715 reservation, but could not sit immediately, but other parties. We ordered several apps. Nachos was good. But the rest of the food was average. I will try again, other things and revise my review.

Great food, great employees, great place. My family loves this place. The manager Chris is the best. He is down to earth and cares about all his customers. The hostess Lilly is awesome and super friendly. Eating here a few days in a row is not unheard of because all the food is great. We will see you there!
