Denny's - Wilmer

I would personally rate this restaurant at around 3.5 or 3.75, but I'll round it up to a 4 based on a previous visit. The staff were great and friendly. There were more customers than I expected for a mid-week evening, around 10 o'clock, but it was still slower compared to a Sunday. It seemed like they were short-staffed, but I didn't feel completely ignored. I ordered the cookie dough pancakes, which were a seasonal item. Unfortunately, the pancakes only had a few small pieces of cookie dough and chips on top, not like what was shown in the pictures. They were basically simple, slightly undercooked pancakes with sugar on top. The bacon was a bit cold and soggy. The service was fast, so I don't think my food was sitting for long. The bacon probably needed to be warmed up again due to the time of day. Overall, the service was great and the staff were friendly, but the food was a bit disappointing. I would suggest offering a different option if they are low on supplies. Considering the circumstances, I'll chalk it up to the effects of COVID-19 on food supply.

The service at this restaurant is fantastic and the food is delicious! I typically don't like Denny's, but this place really impressed me. The food is served hot, the restaurant is clean, and the service is excellent. It's a great spot to grab a quick and budget-friendly meal. The restaurant is also non-smoking. Highly recommend!

The service at this restaurant is excellent and the food is very convenient. My only complaint is the abundance of gnats I constantly see. It seems like they need to focus more on the cleanliness of their kitchen or drainage system because they have a serious infestation that needs to be addressed. I am surprised that the health department has not issued any citations for this issue.

One of my favorite Dennys. the personal is really friendly, eating is consistent from the visit. great discount for trucker. they also offer veteran discount. I've often dined it there and I'll keep breaking.

Krystal is by far the best GM that I have ever met .. she had the best personality and kept an smile on her face . Very fantastic and welcoming . Clean restaurant and great customer service . Definitely will be back , by far the best service I have received in an long time . ?
