Jt's Diner - Willoughby

I visited JT's this morning for breakfast, and I was seated immediately. Before I even had a chance to ask, they poured me a cup of coffee. The staff was friendly, which is what you would expect from a bustling restaurant. I ordered sausage gravy and biscuits with a side of scrambled eggs, and my meal was served remarkably quickly. Everything was freshly prepared and piping hot. While the sausage gravy was tasty, it didn't quite compare to the exceptional versions I enjoyed back home in the South. The restaurant had a nice décor, though that's not a major concern for me. Overall, this is a wonderful family-run establishment, and I highly recommend stopping by for a relaxing breakfast.

1) A super plain menu, a dingy atmosphere, and staff who seem unhappy and rushed to serve anyone. 2) A rare find with friendly and attentive staff hustling to get hot meals out quickly while keeping everything clean. JT's falls into the latter category. The ambiance was lovely, with just the right lighting and volume from the radio. It was impeccably clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was delicious! This is the first diner where the chicken was perfectly crispy without being dry, and the coleslaw was actually flavorful rather than the usual bland, premade slop. My wife's hash browns were cooked to perfection—crispy as they should be. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Just a heads up about the owner, Teena: she's quite loud and engages with customers in a way that some reviewers have described as aggressive or rude. However, anyone without a chip on their shoulder will recognize that she’s just having fun and working to establish her brand. That’s called marketing, folks! Creating a buzz through customer conversations helps build a brand and attract business. So, relax and enjoy your time there!

Excellent diner! I’ve visited for breakfast many times, but today was my first lunch experience. I ordered a tuna melt with onion rings, while my daughter had a Buffalo wrap and fries. We both really enjoyed our meals! The server was so entertaining, joking around with everyone. It felt like visiting family—lots of laughs! Thanks for a great time! Looking forward to coming back soon.

JT 's Diner is very reasonably priced with generous portions served quickly. It has a cute atmosphere not a retro 1950s look but more home like with both tables counter seating which was clean maintained. Some may take exception to my next comment but that 's OK. This was my first visit to JT 's. Judging from some of the decorative signs their motto, Eat get out, dork! , sarcasm banter is the theme. I 've been in such places it can be fun. In my opinion, JT 's takes it a little too far it comes off as loud obnoxious. But if you 're OK with that, consider JT 's to be five (5) stars! __________ Fellow Yelpers! Nice breakfast this morning at JTs. Fast paced diner that gets the tables clear so you seat. Breakfast comes quick. Good coffee. Nice portions on the full breakfast. Hashbrowns were cooked well. Sausage Patties had great flavor. Enjoyed the pancakes. Scrambled eggs were ok. Very good value. Nice spacing, large booths. Would recommend trying this place.
