Although willi brew always good vegetarian options I had not returned since I went totally vegan to the other day. we stopped for lunch as we were in the opposite and the menu definitiw had some upgrades! still no tonne vegan options, but more than before. they have a vegetarian chik’n sandwich on the menu that the server was very beginning to not be vegan, so I ordered the house vegan burger made and the server let me know that the traditional brioche buns was not vegan, but that their own beer bread was and offered to serve my burger on it. both burger and bungalow were delicious! the veggie burger was based on every case sweet, but it remained better than most together and the taste was great! They also have the beyond sausage on the menu that they use a few different types.
I've eaten in willibrew since I was in high school that grew up in ne ct and like to stop at my visit. the menu options are for vegan as in past, and are somehow limited, but decent. the beer and the pub atmosphere are the best parts of a visit in willibrew.
I enjoyed my meal in this restaurant. it is in an old post office and the old PO boxes are in the wall. it is a more lively, fun place. I had the vegan beyond sausage sandwich and really enjoyed it. the jalapenos were quite spicy for my taste, but I could easily pick them up. the fries that came with the sandwich were excellent. I would definitely return if I had lived in the opposite.
We go here regularly for the beer but the vegan food is totally fine. Very limited options; we mostly get the chili (request it with no sour cream etc and a baked potato, or the mushroom wrap without the dairy products. Their beer is really, really good, so if you're a vegan beer lover, this place is worth a trip.
