The Fish Market - Willimantic

I've been looking for a place that makes clam fritters like the kind I grew up with in Rhode Island. BINGO! They are delicious!

My husband and I just moved here last year and finally decided to give this place a try. We ordered the fisherman’s platter and it was fantastic. My husband actually said it was some of the best fish and chips he’s ever had, and he went to college in London. I’m unsure about all the hit and miss reviews here, but we definitely plan to go back.

First time ordering from here and wow! The lobster roll WAS FULL OF LOBSTER MEAT. Not the “fin”pieces as I like to call it. All meat!!! Well worth it. My friend had fried shrimp and said it was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth making the trip here I will do it again and I’m from Somers, CT

Very disappointed in the clam strips. All little pieces. Fries were a disappointment as well.

My wife loves the whole belly clams and lobster roll I usually settle for the burger which is not only cheaper than fast food place (mcy d) but cooked perfect every time (med rare of course)
