I ordered a sub for my dad. He said it was good, however, the guy at the counter could BARELY speak English. Pretty sure this location hires illegal aliens. Buyer BEWARE. We will Never go back. We also live nearby.
What gives? How are customers supposed to know which sandwiches are eligible and which are not? There's nothing posted in the store that explains these rules, and when I inquired with an employee, they just deflected responsibility and told me to speak with the owner. This whole situation feels very shady to me, like they're inventing their own prices and charging whatever they want.
Where to begin? We walked in 1.5 hours before closing and all chairs were on the tables. We weren’t told “hello” or “welcome”. Instead we were told “just so you know we’re out of a lot of stuff”. We were from out of town and staying at a hotel not far so asked what they had. They had turkey, so okay. The only available veggies were: lettuce, onions, black olives, banana peppers, and pickles. So we made some sandwiches and went to the car as we couldn’t eat inside with the chairs already put up! I can also say that it was the driest turkey I’ve ever had in my life. Only positives…we had some food and didn’t get sick from it.
The woman who prepared my sub struggled with speaking and understanding English. Additionally, I miss being able to see the selection of meats and cheeses.
