Park Pizza - Williamsport

I grew up just a block away from Park Pizza, so I've had my fair share of it. Even after all these years, it still tastes just as amazing and remains the best pizza around. When they first opened a long time ago, they actually purchased my grandfather's bakery oven (located on Scott Street) to kick off their business. Recently, I asked them to send a heart-shaped pizza to my son's friend for Valentine's Day, and they went above and beyond for us. The people there are very kind, and the food is GREAT!

The pizza was fantastic, and I ended up taking half of it home for the next day. However, when my wife took a few bites during lunch, she experienced something unusual—something sharp was in her pizza. At first, I thought she had burned her mouth, but when she pulled the offending piece out, we discovered it was a shard of steel, resembling a fragment from a can opener. It was small, but I couldn’t help but worry about the potential for internal injury if a child or someone else had ingested it. Despite this incident, I plan to return since it was our first time dining there; I just need to ensure the kitchen is using safe equipment.

Park Pizza is the only pizza place in Williamsport that I discovered using fresh ingredients. One night, I was on the hunt for a great pizza and checked out six other pizzerias before I stumbled upon Park Pizza. The others used canned mushrooms, which was a deal-breaker for me—I won’t settle for anything less than the best when it comes to my pizza!
