This restaurant is a hidden gem that you'll be delighted to discover! We enjoyed a delicious lunch of homemade soup and sandwiches with a special touch. The cozy ambiance, surrounded by thousands of old and new books, and a fireplace, made it the perfect place to relax. What more could you ask for?

I am so happy that this restaurant is open and operating during COVID! They have outdoor seating as well as tables spaced out inside. Please be patient and understanding (and wear masks) as it is only run by two people and can get quite busy. The food is all delicious, but they really shine with their fresh cuts and their absolutely amazing portobello burger.

Come for the books and stay for the food! Or come to eat and enjoy the books! This restaurant offers an amazing selection of used books in a cool old mill. The café also serves delicious sandwiches and baked goods. The environment is very cozy, with fireplaces and comfortable seating. The service can be slow when busy, but this is not a place for those in a rush. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good book while waiting. They offer large burgers and fries, as well as delicious soups and quiches. The baked goods are all made by the owner and are absolutely delicious.

Amazing eating, endless books, quiet atmosphere and magnificent gastronomics! there are literally thousands of books. the setting is so relaxed that they can sit and read for hours. groups meet for mornings and do crafts. the choirs are just divine as...I am Australian! peter and tamara make the best eat and coffee and are so helpful and friendly. they brought me to buttercups, which is now a favorite when I return to Canada, I go back to this wonderful place!

Saw the ad for the Williamsford Mill in the new Escarpment magazine while on a road trip in the Highway #6 area. We stopped to have a look and decided to stay and have lunch. Very nice food and a great atmosphere, very pleasant...owners ..try the cold cider!
