The Brass Tap - Williamsburg

Had dinner here last Friday night sitting at the bar. There was a good amount of time waiting in between ordering and receiving both drinks and food. My wife's food came out over 10 min before mine, so that was a bit odd. The bartender was not very tentative and there were a decent amount of fruit flies buzzing around the bar. The food and drinks were good, though.

Place was so awful!!! At first there was a fight. Security guards reacted late . Very unprofessional. Right after that didn’t pass a long time those security start fight with a guy who try to pass a key to his friend and go home. Security acted with aggression and they almost start a fight with them of nothing. Even tho the guys try to explain and calm them down . Very unprofessional. Very dangerous place to be . As a girl I was scared and I left. Never gonna come back .

Never coming here again. Beer tasted like water and server said he can’t take it off. Paid $8 for glass of beer which I left full on the table.Update:Gave it another chance. Sat outside asked for sample of beer server said “go sit inside and get your samples” lol niiiice service!German beer tasted like water again. Blue moon smelled like one but tasted bitter.My last order was cider and some old food was floating in my glass.Place went downhill.Locals used to love it but not anymore.

Food was good but the owner got upset because the kj played urban music wich I thought was good it got the crowd going he tried to play pop songs and the crowd didn 't react at all but as soon as the black kj decided to play urban music it was a problem I would never go back EVER!!!!!!!!

Met up for lunch soon after opening on a Friday. No crowds at that hour. Service was excellent. Food was tasty and plentiful. Highly recommend the Tiki man cocktail.
