Came in when no one was there and was the last table to get food as more people came in. My family waited over 75 minutes for our food just to have our orders wrong and spilled on my husband. Service is terrible, forgot utensils and appetizers. Had to remind them and the appetizer ended up coming after we finished our entrees. Sad this place used to be good. Food isn’t authentic, don’t let the menu fool you.
I have ate at this location many times, and it is always excellent. I ate there today but I was not satisfied. The Pho smelled off/different maybe due to the poor looking round steak in my pho and was not nearly as tasty as it has been in the last three years. I also got a Boba tea and it was very chunky with large chunks of ice. Normally, the quality is very good. I don't know if this location has changed management or if the people working there aren't as attentive this does not apply to my waiter who was very attentive as they used to be but I was definitely let down. Hopefully it was a fluke.
I am a Pho connoisseur. I eat pho at least three times a week. I travel around the tidewater area and eat Pho in my travels at many different restaurants. This restaurant is one of the best in the area. The pho is outstanding, and taste is very traditional. I ordered a small and it was enough for a very satisfying lunch. The staff was very prompt and attentive. I'll definitely be back. I recommend giving it a try if you like authentic Vietnamese food.
I don't think of Williamsburg Va as a place to find genuinely good Pho, but here it is!The Newport News location was my first experience. This one is Great as well.
