Old Chickahominy House - Williamsburg

Since the 80s, when I was living in Virginia for decades, I went to the old chickahominy house. Every time I go north to visit family, I made sure my lunch at this fabulous place. Great food affordable breakfast and lunch. I miss her Miss Melinda and miss Becky Specials, where we liked to order. There are many ways to eat. Very good southern life. From salad to dessert is very pleasant. Plus drinks are included when you get the specialties. Love also to buy from their shop. But I missed their home sale of jewels from this world. I loved to buy also here for my Christmas jewelry and get ideas about my annual Christmas decorations from them. I love this place. Service never changed people are still friendly and inclined to my needs. Since then we brought families here.

Everything was delicious! The cookies were the best, was shocked to see that they made them as they used to make cookies. Service was amazing! Happy everyone in my family! Quick and fresh! You also had a gift shop that was really cool! The best part was Stewart to meet the cat! He was so sweet, friendly and enchanting!

Breakfast was just okay. Pancakes were very large, but kind of chewy and not very fluffy. Biscuits were also not wonderful. Eggs were good. Service was wonderful and people were very friendly! The place itself is kind of cool, an old house with antique furniture and a gift shop. But the best part of our visit was Stewart the cat!!! I just wanted to stay with him all day!! ??

Didn't have to wait long to be seated for lunch and the waitress were very happy and courteous with our order and didn't have to wait long on our food it was delicious and would recommend to everyone to try this home cooking. When back visiting Williamsburg Virginia again I definitely will come back. Thank you again for your great hospitality. God bless you all!!

Really nice place. Food is simple but with a twist. Staff are very pleasant and informative. They have a small gift shop that you can look thru if you need to wait. Be sure to order their coconut pie. It was awesome.
