Habana Hemingway Cafe - Williamsburg

Me? Cuban and I can tell you the food in Havana Hemingway is the real deal. I love the Vaca Frita. Empanadas were the best since my grandma last cooked one for me. Service was friendly and efficient. Recommend this restaurant.

We went late in the afternoon, and nobody welcomed us for some time, so we sat. The waitress seemed surprised to see us there, but she was great. We order friend yuca to dive with mole and it was amazing! I ordered grilled chicken and my partner had the Cuban sandwich. We enjoyed our meal here very much!

Great food. Nice rest and music. Waiters need to be trained to serve.... We had two bad experiences with the servers. You should write the commands instead of trying to remember them and then come back to ask your order two or three times and still forget things. That means we're still going back for dinner.

Our first visit definitely will not be our last. Every bite of food was delicious. You can tell the meats were marinated and slow cooked with passion. Our taxes let of 4 adults and two kids was short work for the cooks. We did not wait long for our food at all. Everything was made fresh and arrived steaming hot. Service was friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean and I absolutely loved the decor. Made me want to visit Havana! There is no doubt we will return when we want a 100 percent enjoyable experience.
