Aromas Specialty Coffees Cafe

Stumbled onto this spot while waiting for the William and Mary Bookstore next door to open. It is the perfect little coffe shop. It has warm eclectic decor and very friendly folks behind the counter. I went for my usual Decaf Americano but decided to have breakfast while there. I ordered the grits w poached egg. This dish was delicious!! They serve grits that are larger than I am used and they were great. Mixed into the grits were some ham and cheese then the poached egg was on top. Several men in the shop asked me what I had ordered it looked so good. And I enjoyed it so much. They have pastries and other meals also. The clientele was a nice mix of local businessmen, college students and maybe a sprinkling of tourists.

My favorite breakfast AND lunch place in Williamsburg! Hands down! Awesome food, great staff and management. Great energy! So much fun to sit either inside or outside. Went yesterday and I'm ready to go back!

I had breakfast. Ordered the oatmeal banana brulee. Excellent. The cafe was packed. The staff handled it efficiently and were friendly and enjoyable while handling all the orders. Food was hot with attention to nice presentation. Aromas is a favorite of mine and highly recommend it.

I went there this week and had an Amazing Carmel Aromachinno. It was heaven . The manager,Donna, made it for me .. I will always get it when I go there! It 's the best thing to have and cool off in the summer!! Next time I will eat there!! It is a wonderful place and I love the idea I can take my Beagle there too. They even put out bowls of water for the dogs!! I met some really nice customers there sitting outside. What a friendly place to relax! ' I love it there!!!
