Alley Katz Bistro - Williams Lake

Another reviewer commented it is an eclectic restaurant. True and with warmth and good flavour. We were well served,the portions were ample, and the prices quite reasonable. We had just got off the plane and were preparing for a 4 hour drive so this was a great way to start the day. Very clean place and would easily go back again whenever I'm in Williams Lake.

What an eclectic little restaurant. This is run as a family business and they are so aware of good quality food. Love their breakies and lunches. Just remember - if you want food here come before dinner because it isn't open. A must try.

The staff are always so nice. The food is your basic burgers and sandwiches but good size portions. I love the kitty cat decor.

Without even ordering, the first thing you'll be served is a smile and warm welcome at this warm and cozy cafe. Alley Katz has a wide range of home-style dishes as well as some interesting international fare. Robust portions and moderate prices make it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast or lunch. We went for lunch and were treated to delicious clam chowder and a crunchy chicken burger. Very good and very filling. It'll take us many more visits to try all of the delicious-sounding menu items.

Everything was good, with one exception - a great reuben, loaded with lots of meat, good beef dip & caesar salad - all got a thumbs up. The disappointing order were the fries were strangely undercooked & cold at the same time.
