We were greeted with Happy Birthday wishes for my husband and seated promptly. Our server, Mike, did an excellent job taking our order and providing us with information about the various dishes. The food was delicious and brought out nicely spaced so we enjoyed our time.
Food and service wee excellent. I was miffed with the 3% charge for using a credit card. I assume most people use a credit card. You would think your prices would have that baked in. And the best thing to do is say, when you submit the bill, that if you pay cash, you get a discount. The server did not mention any extra charge when I gave him my credit card. These extra fees drive us all crazy.
They have some food prep issues. The meat special was gristly the. Seabass was overcooked and another meal. The pork blackened was very dry. Very disappointed in all of the meals. The seafood hors d'oeuvres that was new was not very good and the tiramisu was not the best I've ever had. Was hoping for a new place. I recommend getting pasta or a steak if you go there .The ambience is lovely and the service is outstanding 
The calamari is (rightly) amazing. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance cozy enough. My friends loved their dishes the special of the day “blackened scallops” and the on the menu “seafood pasta”. My bolognese with meatballs was very sub par. Dried sauce and boring meatballs. I barely ate it and when the check came I suggested that the pasta was dry and the waitress actually said “they were focusing on the meat, which makes it bolognese. Do you want some marinara sauce?” Sorry. A. Since I had an uneaten plate they should have taken it off the check. B. That's not an appropriate answer to a customer complaint. It's as if I didn't know what bolognese sauce is. I do. And I've had amazing bolognese dishes. It made me not want to go back. I actually threw away the entire leftovers. Marinara sauce was not going to make it better.
