In the 5+ years I've been a customer there, only once have I gotten less than perfect sago (not long after they opened) - maybe I've been lucky but I have no complaints about their bubble tea. Bit of a small store with very little seating though.
Went to the store @ Southlands Willetton today. Bought a cake and asked to have "Happy Birthday" written on it. Counter person did not tell me it costs extra for writing. Paid for the cake. Went to pick it up and the lady said it costs $3.50 for the writing. We refused to pay it as it wasn't stated beforehand. The male staff suggested it was ok to waive the cost as the error was theirs, but the lady insisted we pay the $3.50. We were NOT happy with how she approached it and was VERY demanding. So we said we don't want the writing then. She proceeded to remove the writing and then handed us the cake. The cake was $69. This is about principle, if we were told it would cost $3.50 then we would have not asked for it. The cake was paid in advance to order in a large cake. I CAN'T believe the lady went through all that trouble for $3.50. We will NOT be coming back here EVER again, and will instead go to Breadtop in Carousel for all our future cakes. Breadtop even offer you a FREE cake knife, FREE candles, FREE Happy Birthday sign, and their prices are only a little bit more expensive (around $2) than Utopia's. Their customer service is top notch, and always very welcoming. I found this experience utterly disgusting, and the female staff was extremely rude. I have passed this incident on to all my friends so they're aware of how shocking the Willetton store has become.

They launched a new cup which gives you two flavours in one. It's costly though - $6 without toppings. But a great idea that you get two flavours at one time. Definitely an indulgence! Love the idea but dislike the additional calories. Fighting a losing battle. =p This is our favourite store. A few Asian restaurants around. Done with dinner and walk next door for bubble tea!
Love their cakes here. They not sweet and they are nice. Friendly staff. Can get quite busy because it is located near a popular high school. Their cakes do run out pretty quick!
