Love it!!! Buns are light and not very sweet, I personally love the matcha bun. If you choose to dine in you can sit and enjoy the very relaxing ambiance of the newly renovated Melbourne Hotel. Staff are friendly too.

The buns are soft, the ooze yummiest with every bite. the service was impeccable especially with the choice of buns available. May I suggest the matcha bun for those that like to taste the bitterness of work in the CBD white collar life. For those that have a sweet tooth the red adzuki bean goes great with coffee is give that smack of sweetness to remind you that there is some sweetness in life.

'I don 't need abs as long i have this buns in my stomach ' For this review you might feel I 'm over exaggerating but I 'm not. So here it goes... I haven 't heard much about Hattendo till it was recommended to me by Google Maps. I checked the photos and reviews and it made me curious how creamy this cream buns are.. I have a 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. class and they open from 6:30 a.m till 3 p.m.. I woke up early yesterday so that I can grab some before going to class. I went there with my sister because I 've been talking about since monday about it. My sister ordered a cappuccino while I ordered a box of all the flavors and an extra custard bun so that i could taste some while waiting for her coffee.. When I opened the package I sharpened my taste bud so that I could enjoy the taste of it. There I was having a bite of this cosmic cream buns, the bread is so soft and the taste compliments the silky smooth custard filling. The filling is a perfect balance of sweetness that when you finish your first bun you 'll end up opening the box you just bought and then buy another box so you could share it with your family.. The cream buns are all so light and creamy no matter what the flavor is and you 'll need to call upon a higher power so that you can control yourself not to finish everything in one go. I would recommend to have this with tea rather than coffee because i think that coffee will ruin the experience. The two boxes for $32 $3.50 per piece but $16 for 5) is a cheap price to pay for the quality this buns have. All in all i am very happy and yesterday 's first bite with this buns is going to be one of my fondest memories of cream buns..

My mum always comes here to buy a few boxes of buns. I personally love the custard and matcha buns. They’re creamy and sweet! Worth a try!

Dropped in this morning for a look see; as a fellow Hotel worker I was pretty blown away! The place looks great! Also my partner and I are in love with Hattendo!!! Thanks Cassandra! You are a star and your customer service is of the highest order! Also there was another service person there, a young Asian lady I’m so sorry I didn’t get a name but you make a killer coffee and these buns taste so freaking good!! Please inform Cassandra that we will be back to bother her frequently and hopefully you get those loyalty cards in soon!
