Tucked into a corner in the quaint cobblestone streets of Wiesbaden, there is plenty of outdoor seating and it was apparent that the place is popular. We made a reservation and were glad we did because every outdoor seat was taken and many seats inside as well. While I was originally surprised by the high price of cocktails (11 Euro for one Mojito), when they came, I could see why. The drinks were large and beautiful! We ordered four tapas for three adults and it was plenty of food. Each dish was excellent and we look forward to going back.
I frequented this restaurant MANY times during my time stationed in Wiesbaden. The mojitos are steep at 11 euros but are SO DELICIOUS and SO WORTH IT! The bread and herb butter is so so so so good... plenty of small plates options to share with friends, so get a group together and check it out.
My wife and I were walking the narrow side streets in downtown Wiesbaden and happened on this place. It is located in a small square where there are several restaurants. It was soccer time and all the establishments had their big TV out and every place was packed. We sat down at this place just because they had an open table. It worked out great. The food and drinks were good.
We were fortunate enough to wander by this delightful Spanish tapas spot at just the right time and secure a table outside overlooking the beautiful Goldgasse. Every plate we ordered was delicious but none of us can stop talking about the sauce that the shrimp (camarones) were served in. The only even slightly disappointing choice were the potatoes as they looked like standard American-style potato wedges although the garlic sauce that accompanied them was delicious. The San Miguel beer was cold and the service friendly although not terribly fast. All in all, it was a most enjoyable experience and we'll definitely go back!
My family enjoys a nice Spanish meal from time to time and tapas is a great way to try different things. This is one of the best tapas restaurants I have been to. English menus available. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates.
