SHIKI - Wien

The Auberginenhaupt was really delicious! Excellent service! We didn't have the fine menu as we ate during the day when only the brasserie dishes were available. Just what I didn't think was worth it being the vegetables in tempura dough. That was boring. But try the coconut dessert!

First of all, it's not a typical japanese restaurant. I would say it's more a modern restaurant with influence of Japan. Perfect for ourself ! Not too much strange and exotic food. Me tasting menu is a good balance between pure japanese dishes, fuxion plates and traditional austrian food. Hmmm, the excellent sushis with fresh wasabi. Hmmm even more, the lamb extremely tasty. Hmmm the top, octopus and scallops incredibly fresh A perfect and extremely friendly service from young woman (even if a little bit distante at the start). Excellent english. A wonderful travel from Europe to Japan in few hours : Wish you a very good trip !

I seriously love everything about this place and I am extremely picky! Their contemporary sushi is divine, the ingredients are top notch quality, great selection of cocktails and seriously incredible service. The staff is so nice, attentive and professional like nowhere else in this city. Yes, it is comparatively pricey, but absolutely worth it and a fair price point for the overall quality and experience.

The device is really shiki, even the tolett glasses is typically Japanese heated. the maitre gave each effort, but listening is difficult at the staff. unfortunately and really bad.
