Otto Bauer - Wien

It's a very nice place for a dinner. The inside is a sort of art gallery with paintings of different contemporary artist on the walls. The food was delicious, both the main courses and the desserts. Try the stuffed guinea fowl and the pumpkin cheesecake,...amazing!

We stopped her by chance looking forward a late lunch. So glad we did! The menu for lunch had two items in it, mushroom soup and chicken. Both were outstanding as I shared with my wife. I have no doubt the dinner menu is well...prepared and presented. Waitstaff was great as well with a high level of personal service. Glad we stopped in!

As a Viennese, I can only recommend Otto Bauer, for best food, great service, unforgettable Deserts and Drinks!

Visited for lunch and wasn’t offered a menu, only “specials”. I chose the meat option, which turned out to be some undercooked macaroni with some mince. It was like eating pebbles. Perhaps this place is good at other times, but my experience was very poor,...this meal was bad, like something you might make when you’re at home and drunk and have nothing in the cupboard!

We struggled to find a restaurant without a queue in a Saturday night. We managed to get into the Otto Bauer... and so pleased that we did. The (pork) Schnitzel was absolutely fantastic with great, simple accompaniments... and a killer cranberry sauce. Beer and wine...really good .. all topped off with friendly, attentive service. Also, about half the price of ‘recommended’ local restaurants. Our highlight of Vienna.
