Cafe Berg - Wien

We got here coming out of the Freud museum, and found this nice cafe, with surprisingly good food (the tomato soup was amazing).The place is very quiet (comfortable quiet, at least at lunch), so you can seat and enjoy your meal.The service is a little bit slow, but not enough to be a problem.

Had breakfast and evening meal here and it was the best food we have had...and not just in Vienna! Friendly, English speaking staff. English menu option. Excellent value for money. Recommend the chicken dishes and the breakfast option are vast. Decor was lovely, very Christmassy. If your in Vienna, pay this little cafe a visit. You will not regret it!! :)

Great little cafe, very nice menu which changes frequently. We both had King prawn salad which was delicious. Friendly, print, service. Breakfast menu looked good as well.

After browsing the excellent gay bookshop Loewenherz adjoining this cafe, we decided to stop for a drink and a piece of cake. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we visited two further times, meeting friends there and having snacks., even though we were staying on the other side of town.. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, without being ostentatious, and the food simple but pleasant.

Just next the Löwenherz Bookstore, a nice, LGBT cafe - close to the center of Vienna. When I visit the city, I often come here. Nice service, good quality.
