Two things that made this a great place to eat. 1. They are not only dogs friendly, but welcome dogs with open arms. 2. The food was really good. It was not a huge menu, but still many options. And finally, the employees were really friendly and welcoming....wait...that 3 things

Visited here this afternoon (Friday) with my 13 year old son after a local hike with the dog. The facilities are lovely and well maintained. Beautiful garden and outdoor covered seating area. Everything was very clean, including the toilets. Food was good with plenty of choice and not too expensive. Staff were fabulous. Very polite, welcoming and no request was too much. Even the dog got a fuss and treat. Haven't been for few years but will definitely be making it a regular pit stop from now on. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

Great food, Beautifullly presented. Very large portions, at a very reasonable price. Varied menu and chefs specials available. We went for burger and a pork roast, which were top notch. Food served Sunday evening too!

This pub is a hidden gem. The food was utterly scrumptious, good value for money, huge pub garden and the staff were so helpful and lovely.

Saturday 4th December 2021 We visited this pub as we were invited to a wedding and they have a function room, it was very well dressed for a wedding reception, it was lovely and warm because it was freezing outside and the radiators were on, it had its own mini bar area, and the food that was provided was delicious and looked beautiful, the toilets were in the main pub but that's not a problem to get to at all because the function room was right next door to the main pub. I will be taking my family for lunch or dinner one day in the future. Great place
