Wendy's - Wichita

I absolutely loved Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich! I used to get it all the time when they had a location at Greenwich and Kellogg, but it's been a while since I had one because I don’t have a restaurant nearby anymore. So, I was really excited to get one when I traveled west. I had the sandwich twice within a week at the same place, before dessert. The first time, it was delicious, but I noticed they must have changed something. I’m not sure if it was the spiciness level or some additional ingredient, but it gave me a terrible allergic reaction. My face felt incredibly hot, and I experienced body aches from head to toe. I didn't make the connection until I had it a second time the following week. It's really disappointing because now I don’t think I can eat at Wendy's again, although I can still enjoy a Frosty!

If you enjoy being ignored despite the presence of more employees than customers, this is the place for you. I stood in line for five minutes before the person at the drive-thru asked the supervisor whether they were assisting the drive-thru customer or me. The supervisor simply said, "Running through." It was quite disrespectful towards a waiting customer.

I had a terrible experience at the restaurant. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, but the beef patty was old and dry. The chicken was tough and chewy, and everything was served lukewarm. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

I should have stopped to look at reviews for this location before wasting my money. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal and got home to find the smallest cheeseburger on the menu in my bag. Things happen, but after seeing complaints from others it doesn't seem this should be unexpected from this Wendy's.
