Red Clam Kathu - Wichit

We had an amazing dinner. The spicy fish with lime and chilli is a Must Must Try. It is so so so Delicious! It reminded me Leng Zabb that we tried in Bangkok which was absolutely delicious as well and also had lots of chillis and lime. If you come in Phuket and can handle a bit of chilli definitely head to this restaurant. It is only 250 Bath for the hole fish. I don't know the name in English but you can see the Thai name here on the bill among my photos.

To be fair the seafood was fresh and very affordable hence 4 stars. Overall the taste was ok, best described as natural flavours coming through. Nice to have charcoal grilled seafood. Cold beer could have been colder, as I didn't want ice.

Great seafood restaurant and reasonable prices. A little out of the way but still gets a large share of local and tourist customers. Fresh oysters here are delicious. The grilled shrimp and fish are also tasty. Morning glory vegetables are great. If you have a car or easy mode of transportation and want great seafood, this is the place.

This is one of the most delicious seafood restaurants i ve ever been to, and the price is quite affordable as well. highly reccomend! all the dished were fresh, delicious, generous

I had this place on my todo list because it had great reviews. I went last night. I had Hoi Chak Teen and squid in curry sauce. Tip for eating the Hoi Chak Teen, use a tooth pick. The food was delicious. It was the 1st time trying Hoi Chak Teen and I ate them all. A couple tasted slightly dodgy but there was no negative reactions. The squid was so good, great flavour and very tender. I asked not too spicy. The dip for the Hoi Chak Teen was so good, my mouth was on fire at the end. I paid a reasonable price and the staff were friendly and quick. I went about 5pm and i was the only Farang there. I recommend you try this place.
