Turf Liquor - Whittier

I’ve been coming to this place since I moved to the neighborhood in 1999, and I finally decided to leave a review since my drinking days are behind me. (Fingers crossed!) I used to come here for Red Stripe and Grolsch beer because the liquor store around the corner doesn’t carry them. The owner has been here for over 30 years, and the prices are very competitive, which saves me a trip to Stater Brothers down the street where the prices are the same.

The restaurant offered a great selection of drinks and snacks. I had a delicious strawberry pineapple button limonade that was fantastic. My sister opted for an essential water and a Cool Blue Gatorade since they didn't have the fruit stamp flavor she wanted.

The beer is always served ice-cold and is reasonably priced.
