Just a big shout out to the two young male employees working tonight 7/3/23. It's 9:45 when I walk in to order sandwiches. I'm in the food service industry, so I know what it's like for someone to walk in when you're just about to close. These two gentlemen were super nice and friendly. While making my 4 sandwiches they were kind and engaged in pleasant conversation. The employee with dark brown/black hair I've been helped by before. He has always been very nice. The other young man I've never seen before, but he was so polite, it really stands out. I hope the owner of this subway knows he's got two great employees.
The vegetables at Subway at 15030 Whittier Blvd in Whittier are not fresh at all!! They look old and like they have been sitting out. And the owner or manager is not friendly or pleasant.I will not be going back to that Subway.
Worse Subway I've been to. This location doesn't close till 10pm. I came in at 9:15 pm. The tall guy asked what I would like and I said a meatball and tuna. He said sorry they're out of meatball for the night. Then, he walked off to answer the phone and some kid came up and looked confused. The tall guy came back and asked what other sandwiches I would like. So, I asked for tuna. He said, sorry we're out of tuna too. I left. It looked as if they were pretty much closed. If you want bread with nothing on it, come here. I will never return.
Visited this location yesterday with my husband and I couldn't believe the customer service or lack there of we received. When we walked a older short bald Hispanic employee was making a sandwich and he didn't acknowledge us. He looked up when we entered the store and then continued making the sandwich. He looked up again and I smiled to see if he would acknowledged us and still nothing. There was awkward silence for about 2 or 3 minutes. Another customer walked in and again the employee didn't acknowledge him either. The customer had to tell him he was there to pick up an order. Finally another employee came onto the work floor and this young man didn't say anything but he did a nod and a what's up to my husband. The first employee didn't not have badge on or hat or air net. The second employee did have a badge on his hat but the name was not visible. Subway please do better and train your employees the importance of customer service.
