El Pollo Loco - Whittier

Ordered 2 Tacos al Carbon and Tacos al Carbon meal. It was calculated over $12.00. Fee asked and was said every taco was now over $3.00. Online menu says $2,79. Dinner is $5.00 with 3 tacos and a drink and chips. No reception in the bag.

This is for the location on Carmenita and Telegraph in Whittier. We order from this place quite often as we live very close. For at least 3 or 4 orders, something was left out of order. I usually use Curbside, so I don't have to go in. Tonight our salad dress was left out of order, so I had to go back to get it. The responsible employee gave me 2 more Tostada salads for free for my trouble, which was nice. But I'd rather have our job right. I don't understand how hard it is to read orders in the app and fill them properly. I leave this review to warn others to check their orders before I left the restaurant. From now on I will take everything out of my bag to check it before leaving. This is uncomfortable, but better than going back.

Food prep is horrible. It 's as if they 've been scolded about food cost by district managers and now they 're trying not to waste food so they reheat food. The last few times I 've been there the chicken is dry and hard as if old and reheated. The chips oily and hard, the tortillas soggy yet hard so weird. The employees seems so depressed that their customer service lacks. Not rude just so blah. I honestly feel sorry for them 'cause they look unhappy there so you know they 're not being treated well.
