Killarney Lodge Restaurant - Whitney

Exceptional stay in the heart of the algonquin park! a pretty holiday home right on the water, with loons that call and fishing directly in front. a menu to fill them around the clock and smile. the customer service is 10!

We were in the killarney lodge august 25-27/21. we ate in restaurant for 2 breakfast and 2 dinners. for the cost of this place we have definitely expected so much more. for our first dinner we sat up and watched that other people are sitting and served. even before our server came to take our order. the server could say by my sight that I was not happy, but did not apologize at all. She just looked at me and said what I can get you. then we waited 30 minutes before we got our meal. next morning we had the same server with the same bad setting. she didn't offer us any juice or asked if we wanted to spk or throw with our breakfast, as I noticed the other server. I ordered the obstsalat and was so surprised and disappointed by the “Dole” preserved fruit salad. I cannot believe that it would actually serve this for the $800 / night price tag for the two of us for this place. we will never go back!

The meals are included in the room. menu has a large selection of options, from, bark meat, fish, huh, vegetarian to choose. after home made desserts. menu change every day of the week.

We were impressed by the variety and quality of dishes offered at this restaurant. The dinner we had was especially delicious. Although they are not licensed, they allow customers to bring their own alcohol without charging a corkage fee. We couldn't finish our wine that night, and they kindly offered to store the unfinished bottle for us to enjoy the next evening. It was a nice gesture that added to the great service we experienced in the charming dining room with a beautiful view.

The portions were generous to the point where we couldn't finish all of the food. The staff provided excellent service and were very accommodating. We would be eager to return in the future once things return to normal.
