Bayside Sports Grille - Whitmore Lake

Place has a nice Sunday afternoon vibe to it (pal on the seaplane was kind of annoying but unrelated to the restaurant). I got the walleye lunch, did not expect the portion to be quite that small, however it was really good. The server was very nice and funny. A new POS system is needed (crashed 3 times per our server). It took longer to pay our bill than the whole lunch (drinks and food) no joke

Food was great. Service was great. Not a fan of the 18% added to the bill but I’m sure that’s due to people leaving a $1 tip. Would recommend and will be back

Great drinks and ambience! Love that this place overlooks the lake. It is a great place to eat out in the summer and sit on the deck. The food here is okay. It is more of a Seafood heavy menu now. I would stop in for a drink if i'm in the area. It's nice to have as a place to go out in Walled Lake

What I Like: amazing views and peaceful mean food is good and staff is relatively friendly What Can Be Better: I'm a good tipper but don't like the automatic 20% gratuity Don't like the upcharge for using a credit card; that's the cost of doing business Overall, for the view, the things I don't like may be worth it for the views.

Despite, being out of what was offered on the menu, the food was good. I did not appreciate the bill being not only pre generated with an 18% gratuity, (WHICH WAS ALSO PERSONALLY HIGHLIGHTED BY THE SERVER), but also the additional final paper to also add ANOTHER TIP! I am more than generous when it comes to leaving a tip when it's deserved. I shouldn't be forced/made to. Needless to say I will no longer be dining at this establishment.
