Paul and lee are first class host, amazing service and the rooms are beautifully decorated, it could not fail at all. nice eating, close to the sea and ligand transport. I wouldn't book anywhere else if you came to whitley bay. 5*

Booked two rooms for one night and we look forward to saying very nice, clean and well equipped. a pleasant atmosphere and would definitely use it again.

My sister and I just had a wonderful stay at the Metropol Hotel. Paul and his staff were incredibly attentive and could not have been more helpful. Our first-class single room with a double bed was spotless, and the breakfast was fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely be rebooking in the near future!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay here! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, just a short walk to both the metro and the sea. The rooms have everything you need, and the decor and furnishings are beautifully done. Waking up to the sound of the waves was heavenly, and the breakfast was delightful! Thank you both; I can't recommend this place highly enough, and I will definitely be back!
