Triple R Barbecue - Whitewright

It looks a bit unassuming from the outside, but once you step inside, it's a whole different story. The amazing aromas greet you, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious! I was not disappointed at all.

I am absolutely in love with Triple R BBQ! A wedding venue recommended them for catering, and after trying it out, I can confidently say it's the best barbecue we've ever had. We make the journey from Grapevine at least once every couple of months just to indulge in their food. I've even purchased a large family meal, packed it in a cooler, and driven 12 hours to Indiana so my parents could experience the amazing barbecue too! We've been regulars since 2020 and have no plans to stop. My husband has even joked about moving closer so we don’t have to travel so far, haha! I tell everyone I know that they should make the trip. The atmosphere is welcoming, the prices are great, and the food is absolutely incredible—it’s totally worth the journey!

Quite and good... Not real smokey favor but still was good to eat. Real people that take the time to care. I will surely stop again if I'm ever back in them neck of the woods.

I did take one star off due to the professionalism of the staff. Unfortunately, I overheard one employee badmouthing another local business, which is inappropriate. The person who cut my brisket was excellent, but the individual who was cleaning tables and managing the register was quite vocal in their criticisms. I came for the food, not to hear about local politics. Despite that, I did enjoy my meal and the prices were reasonable. I plan on returning in the future!

I give it 3 stars for price. One meat sandwich with side and drink for $9.99 is a great deal. I got sliced brisket, which was moist, but I could not detect any smoke flavor what so ever. It tasted like a oven cooked roast with no salt. Potato casserolehad some off flavor. Couldn't detect what it was, but it's not Terrible. This was my first time back in 7 years or so. I stoppedthen for this same issue. Add some seasoning and smoke to them briskets!!!
