Squires Loft - Whitehorse

Went to Nunawading to have a nice steak rib... Lady at the door please order vaccination certificate.... They gave us a table with my family. We order steak ribs for all of us and they told us SORRY NO STEAK RIBS TODAY!!! ... at least they could mention that before they gave us a table!!! Totally disappointed

It's been here a lot in recent years. Never had a bad steak!!!! For those who give bad reviews for vegetarian meals. Go to a vegetarian restaurant. No fantastic steakhouse. I love Squires Loft Nunawading!!!!

The food was good But as a reminder. there is currently a mandate for all people to wear face masks outside and inside unless eating or drinking. There is also a requirement for guests to check in via QR code First visit there last night,...no masks on staff at all. None to be seen. We weren 't requested to check in. I sat near the entry desk. No one was asked to check in. When we were seated, I asked about the lack of masks on anyone. Reason given 'they were just starting ' what does that even mean? We were there for an hour. While the wait staff put them on. No one behind the bar or the kitchen had one on. Masks are keeping us out of lockdown. Contact tracing is giving us the heads up if an infected person has been in our vicinity If I have to wear one to go and spend money in your establishment, I can 't see why none of your team wear them to protect your guests. You served good food. Shame your lack interest in keeping people safe , and complete lack of consideration for your customers has ensured we will never go there again

We went here with friends for a celebration. Unfortunately many of us couldn’t have our dietary needs met. No great vegetarian or vegan options, no great gluten free. I watched as the chef cooked my mushrooms with the steak alongside it on the same hot...plate with no care that my food was tossed along with meat juices. Seriously no consideration for paying patrons. 5 out of 8 friends in our group wouldn’t return or recommend this restaurant to anyone. Expensive and good for carnivores doesn’t work for everyone. In 2021 a menu should cater to a variety of customers.

Very bad service. I haven’t seen such horrible service like this. Never will be there again. Never will be recommend to anyone.
