I love this place so much that I used to have my birthday meals here when I lived closer. We still come back every month or two. It's a great place to come with a group of friends to enjoy a tasty meal and some honey wine. We love the mahberoch, fish, andall of the spicier beef dishes. If you don't mind eating raw meats, the kitfo is tasty and a different eating experience.Evenings when they are doing coffee ceremony are my favorite they roast the beans right there and it fills the whole placewith the most intoxicating aroma. The coffee is so rich and flavorful.
I've been coming here for years and have always loved it. I often split the goden tebs and veggie platter with one or two people. Service can be a bit slow but is always very friendly. The Ethiopian beer is also very good!
Nice place. Good atmosphere for families. They didn?t have greens and some other dishes. The manager was nice and he was really attentive.
The restaurant inside has an African charm. Well, I have never been there. But from my vlog/ documentary watching experience I felt that a jolly bar like casual vibe is much close to an African, rustic vibe. When we were there, there was no ethnicallydifferent people, other than Africans. Later on a white couple arrived, but it seems the place is mostly catered for Africanpeople. So their food must be authentic. The service is super slow. The lady didn?t bother much to serve us. However, the foodwas good. Both of us shared an entree where beef, spinach, lentils, etc was being served on top of injera African bread madefrom rice/ tapioca? in other tables people were having a fried fish, which looked to yum! Next time I am going to try that.Overall, we liked the place and wish to go back soon.
